Our Online Learning Centres (OLCs) are websites that support the textbooks you are studying from. They aim to make studying easier, interactive and fun.
So how can the OLC benefit you?
OLC content varies according to whichever book and subject you are studying but here are some of the features you might find:
- Chapter quizzes to help you assess your understanding of a subject. If you get the answers wrong, they direct you back to the relevant part of the textbook so you can refresh your knowledge
- Video clips and case studies to help put theory into context. Real-life cases help you understand how you can apply what you've learned in the real world.
- Links to carefully chosen websites to make research on the web easier. Your assignments will be finished far quicker with these targeted sites than if you trawl right through a search engine's results!
Check in your book to see if there is an OLC address. For some books, you may need a password to access the student OLC. This will have been included with your new textbook.
iPod Content Student can study on the go with McGraw-Hill's course content for the Apple iPod or any other MP4 player. Our innovative approach allows students to download audio and video presentations directly onto their iPod and take learning materials with them wherever they go. Whether it's in the car, on the train, or walking between classes - it's easy to get a quick refresher on key course content and to make review and study time as easy as putting on headphones.
